I had a moment of moral conflict prior to creating this post. Inherently I know it’s strange for a dentist to be posting about the best Halloween treats, but the realist in me says, “it’s Halloween!”–and there is no getting around the orange-and-black sugar rush that will occur in the next two days. So without further ado here are the best ideas I found for terrifying treats this holiday season:
Candy Corn Marshmallow Monsters, brought to us by Knead to Cook. Cute, delicious, and relatively easy to make. Your little monsters will gobble them up.
I am a sucker for a good doughnut, especially if they are vampire doughnuts (pun intended). Cardamommy and Coriaunty have scared up some fun with these treats, great for office or school snacks. Eat them before they eat you!
This one works for both adult and children’s parties–I would reuse the sucker pun from above but I don’t want to beat a dead body. Lillluna.com brings us these spooky punches, sure to please any blood type. Slurp down these delicious punches and let the ghoulish garnish speak for itself.
Very clever way to get your kids to eat their fruit and vegetables form spaceshipsandlaserbeams.com. The Clementine and celery orange pumpkins and banana ghosts are a healthy, fun alternative to the store bought candy treats. What kid, big or small, could resist?
Let’s end on a healthy note. Enjoy and happy hauntings everyone!
